Anne Greenwood is a strategic communications consultant who helps nonprofits build the communications infrastructure that shifts their teams from reactive to strategic. Her work spans strategy, messaging, and operations that let communications teams do their best work sustainably.

Anne spent 15 years in-house at nonprofit organizations in Canada and the U.S., most of it at the intersection of education and employment. Most recently, she served as Director of Enterprise Communications at World Education Services, a global social enterprise dedicated to the educational, economic, and social inclusion of immigrants, refugees, and international students. She holds a Master's in Professional Communications and a certificate in change communications from the University of Ottawa.

Anne is based in Toronto and is energized by the communicators who are doing meaningful, mission-driven work — often without much backup. She joined ICI to help build the kind of community she wishes had existed earlier in her own career.
