MEET THE EXECUTIVE BOARD
SUKHI SAHNI
Academic Committee
Sukhi Sahni is a corporate affairs executive who has spent more than two decades doing the work, not just talking about it. She helps companies run reputation, trust, communications and marketing as one connected function, built on a simple conviction: communications only deliver when it is part of how a company actually operates, not bolted on after the fact. For Sukhi, first deserve then desire has never been just a philosophy. It is how she shows up every single day.
Over the course of her career she has advised CEOs and leadership teams through some of the most complex communications challenges in corporate America, including the Sprint Nextel merger, Capital One's transformation into an experiential and tech-first brand, and Wells Fargo's reputation recovery. She has held global roles throughout her career and brings that cross-market perspective to every engagement. She currently serves as Chief Communications Officer at Varo Bank.
Sukhi firmly believes that when you invest in the next generation, you elevate the entire industry. As a practitioner committed to that mission, she teaches crisis communications at Rutgers, modern-day storytelling at Georgetown, and is building the graduate AI curriculum at the University of Delaware.
Sukhi came to the United States as an immigrant student. That experience shapes a worldview that is cross-cultural, deeply empathetic, and oriented toward trust-building that transcends borders. She is a mental health advocate, a board member and advisor for VantageRoad Partners, WWPR and IPR, and the author of Shukriya, a weekly reflection on gratitude, people, and the belief that we only get better together.
